I couldn't help it...I made a quick card for my Facebook Live this week and wondered what it would look like using different color schemes and stamps.
I thought that I would use the whimsical Wisteria Wishes stamp set initially. It is in the Annual Catalog. I had been longing to use it but to be honest, I had taken my time purchasing it.
The leaves on the embossed mat are using the Twigs & Sprigs hybrid embossing folder. The the leaves match those of the Wisteria Wishes stamp set, so I settled on another embossed card layer and tone on tone stamping this week.
I coupled it with Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz inks. The stamped mat is attached to Fresh Freesia with Stampin' Dimensionals and the label is attached only partially with Stampin' Dimensionals. I'll explain in a bit. Isn't is simple, yet grand?

In this variation, I decided to darken up the tone on tone to see what kind of feel I would get. I have to say that I am really digging the Soft Succulent and the gold embellishments. I think it works nicely, don't you?
Since the stamped layered mat with the images is attached already with Stampin' Dimensionals, I didn't want to attach the sentiment layer with more of them, as it would be higher on the left than the right. I also didn't want the end of the sentiment layer to flop down, on the right edge where it is hanging over.
The trick? Add a single Stampin' Dimensional on the reverse side of the mat that will over hang the stamped and layered portion and use Seal Plus on the remainder. The sentiment layer will even all the way across!
Finally, in my last iteration of this layout, I used the more bold Cajun Craze to grab the focus, although the result is still subtle. I decided on a simple layered circle and sentiment, as to not compete with the beauty of the stamp set and the boldness of the color palette. I was really please with the result. And the Soft Seedlings stamp set is so lovely!

I hope that you enjoy these three cards as much as I enjoyed creating them. They are different enough to stand alone, but the same enough to make a cute set of cards, that compliment each other.
