Oceanfront Facebook Live card

During this week's Facebook Live, I made a serene and creative card using the Oceanfront stamp set.  I simply love the "scenery" stamp sets created by Stampin' Up. The artistry is  amazing and these stamp sets work so beautifully together!

Another wonderful thing about this stamp set is that it doesn't require a whole lot of embellishing; it's a great example of SIP - Stamps, Inks and Paper - standing alone beautifully.  One of my favorite ways to create.

 

In the live video, I share a technique to create the gradient sunset on the horizon.  I used Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral inks.  I inked the stamp with Crushed Curry, then using a dauber, I added the Calypso Coral to the inked stamp to give dual color with one pass.

Using the Brushed Metal gems, I created little "pebbles" to highlight the green plants.

This was such a fun card to create. I hope you enjoy it.

Bottled Happiness

Did you get a chance to catch last week's Facebook Live?  I shared a cute and stately card using the Bottled Happiness stamp set.  I am loving the Crumb Cake, Blackberry Bliss and Soft Seafoam together.  

Bottled Happiness is an adorable two step stamp set with the cutest little set of bottles.  The tallest bottle can also be used as a wine bottle or they can both be used as vases.  It even has stamps for the bottle label and a coordinating sentiment.  It was one of my first picks from our new Annual Catalog.

I used Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Soft Seafoam inks to keep the design simple, yet sweet.  I also add Linen Thread and Basic Rhinestone jewels for a little bit of bling.

Here's another Card using the 2 step floral spray in the lovely new In Color - Sweet Sorbet.

Sweet, isn't it?
