I'm having a contest over on my Facebook Business page. I have a card kit that I'd like to give away. It includes enough pre-cut products to make 3 simple to recreate cards (so easy for a beginner). If you'd like to try your hand at cardmaking, this is a perfect opportunity to!
To be in the running to win, simply tell me in the comments below what your favorite holiday (or season) is and why? I'll be choosing a random winner on Sunday, Sept. 17, so you have four days to enter.
By the way, my favorite holiday is Christmas. I love all of the twinkling lights, sitting by the tree at night, shopping for the best gifts for my loves, baking and warm foods, the smells sights and sounds - and most of all, the joy that so many find during the season.
If you would like to comment to enter, visit my Facebook Business page (link below), and comment about your favorite holiday or season.
Annnddddd...guess who's back? Back with more creations from the IDEAS Blog Hop. Who is IDEAS (International Demos Exciting Artistic Stamping), you ask? We are a team of international Stampin' Up Demonstrators who collaborate monthly on a huge tutorial, to bring creative projects that range from simple to complex. Something for everyone!
The IDEAS tutorials are full of inspiring creations from different designers! You get a ton of different projects and design influences from different creators, in a bundle to recreate on your own!
This month’s IDEAS blog hop theme is Family Celebrations. Cards.
My contribution this month uses the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and coordinating dies. It's very fall/winter friendly, which is a great segue to usher in the holiday season of crafting, as we are now there.
My project is fun gift holder card and matching greeting card. I was very intentional about using fall colors. I featured the Wild Wheat, one of the set of 5 In-Colors. It is just a nice color that reminds me of a hay ride. I was on the fence when it was first presented, but I really do like it.
Here's our collage, which is a sneak peak from each designer in this edition of the tutorial bundle. See it here:
And...here's a peek at my project and the stamp set I used from this month:
I used the In Color treat bags to create the gift card holder and the mat for the matching card.
